The form is rarely the problem. The investigation is.

If your 8D keeps coming back, the fix usually isn't more formatting — it's a deeper root cause and proof that it works. Most people reach out at one of these moments:

“Insufficient” again

You've resubmitted and the comments keep landing on root cause or verification. Reformatting didn't help.

You're the only one on it

No dedicated quality resource, a customer waiting, and management asking for an answer before you've seen a single part.

“Operators were retrained”

You know the corrective action is thin. The customer knows it too. You just don't know what else to write.

The clock is running

Every rejection means another week of containment, sorting, delivery risk and a sliding supplier score.

Now picture the other version: you submit once, the customer's engineer finds nothing to push back on — and the complaint closes. You know exactly why it landed. And the defect doesn't come back.

What clients say after the work

“Finally, an 8D our customer accepted without pushback. DykeArt helped us identify the actual root cause within a week.”

TD
Thomas D.
Quality Manager, Tier 2 Automotive Supplier

“The root cause was not what we expected. The structured investigation proved it was a process parameter shift nobody had documented.”

AM
Andrea M.
Supplier Quality Engineer, Electronics Manufacturer

“Fast, calm, and professional under pressure. We had a 48-hour deadline and delivered a credible response the same day.”

Operations Manager, Tier 3 Supplier

What “getting it accepted” looked like

Automotive · Tier 2

The cause was in the gauge, not the line

Three 8Ds rejected by the OEM over 18 months. Re-running the investigation surfaced a measurement-system error that had let the defect pass for years.

Accepted in 5 working days after 3 rejections

Electronics · Assembly

A 48-hour clock, handled calmly

A critical escalation, a two-day deadline and nobody free to own it. Containment went to the customer on day one, buying room to investigate properly.

Closed in 10 days · no penalty

Industrial · Components

Proving the material was fine

The customer blamed incoming material for a line stoppage. A structured review of measurements and timeline showed it met spec — and found the real fault elsewhere.

Supplier cleared on the facts

A specialist who has sat on both sides of the rejection

Every case is handled personally by Tamás Sára — 20+ years in automotive and electronics quality, working complaints, escalations and supplier disputes from inside real plants. Not a consulting template: someone who has had reports rejected, found the cause that was hiding, and got the resubmission accepted under deadline.

  • Evidence before conclusions
  • Written for the customer's quality engineer
  • Corrective actions verified with data
  • Practical for a 5-day deadline, not a 5-month project

You'll know exactly which layer is off — or you don't pay.

Built for the person holding the complaint

A good fit if you…

  • are a quality engineer at a Tier 1–3 supplier whose 8D bounced back again
  • are a plant or production manager who “inherited” quality, with a deadline
  • are a small supplier facing a demanding OEM with a full quality team
  • want an outside view before your customer's engineer finds the gap

Not the right fit if you…

  • only need the 8D form filled in, not the investigation behind it
  • want a report that sounds good but hides the real cause

Questions people ask first

Do I need a finished 8D draft?

No. A rejection note, the complaint or a short description is enough to start. Partial drafts are welcome — the right entry point gets matched to where your case is.

It was already rejected twice. Is it still recoverable?

Usually, yes — but the resubmission has to change what mattered, typically root cause depth or verification evidence, not the formatting. That layer gets pinpointed and rebuilt.

Is my defect and customer data confidential?

Yes. Drawings, data, customer names and reports are used only for your case, and anything referenced elsewhere is fully anonymized. A signed NDA is available on request.

“We should be able to do this ourselves.” Why pay someone outside?

Your team knows the process best — and that's exactly why the same blind spot keeps reappearing. One outside review costs less than a single extra round of containment and sorting, and you keep everything for the next 8D.

Can we pay by company invoice?

Yes. Every service can be invoiced to your company with VAT details, and PO numbers are accepted.

What if my case can't be solved remotely?

Then you'll hear it up front, before you spend more — with a clear recommendation for the next step.
